Foundations Festival, 25th – 26th November 2016

Foundations Festival is a new two day micro-festival which for its first year is to be held at the wonderful King’s Arms in Salford.

A joint venture between Manchester record labels AnalogueTrash and Valentine Records, the festival celebrates “grassroots live music, creative collaboration, community networking and multimedia art/film and performance.” With an eclectic line up of 16 label artists and friends across two stages it’s sure to be an engaging and energetic weekend. You can find the fantastic full-lineup on the poster:

As well as music, the festival will also be showcasing an arts and community programme featuring local artists and performers including sensational multi-instrumentalist Susi O’Neill’s ‘Etherwave: Adventures With The Theremin’ (straight from Edinburgh Fringe, might we add!) as well as fine art and photography from Charlie Bergmann, Mark Edwards, Don Grant and Steven Rolfe. The full arts and community programme is outlined here:

The festival takes place over the weekend of Friday 25th and Saturday 26th August. Tickets are available here at just £10 per day or £15 for the full weekend! Capacity is limited and tickets are selling fast so buy early if possible to avoid disappointment.

The Foundations Festival Facebook event can be found here and you can also like the page for updates here.

We’re looking forward to seeing what goes down, it’s sure to be a noisy weekend.
